Community Outreach – A Key Focus Of New Life!
Community outreach is important for any business or medical practice. At New Life Medical Addiction Services, located in Marlton, NJ, Community outreach is taken to a new level by their Chief Operating Officer, Todd Fedoruk.
Community outreach comes naturally to Todd. As a former Philadelphia Flyer, Todd is used to being in the limelight and his training gives him a natural ease when he is interacting with the public. However, the real key to Todd’s success with people is his natural charm and gregariousness. Not only is he New Life’s COO but his fame converts him into something of a brand ambassador when he is out in the world.
“People need to know that the stigma of addiction has been smashed. Addiction is a disease that affects people from all walks of life. From professional athletes to union workers to grandmothers – it doesn’t matter. Almost anyone of us can misuse or abuse drugs and alcohol. Its how we face that reality and deal with it that matters” said Todd at a recent Flyer’s event.
Although he is extremely busy as a corporate executive, Todd always makes sure to support the Flyers organization when they need alumni for community outreach.
Todd was recently at a Flyers Caravan event at the Havertown, PA police station. The event was attended by hundreds of people and the Flyers didn’t hold back on anything and included a DJ, dancers, a street hockey rink, free hats and sunglasses and an appearance by Gritty!

The highlight for most of the fans was being to meet Todd and the other Flyers alums. Although he keeps it about the fans at Flyers events, Todd is highly visible at many events throughout the Delaware Valley promoting New Life’s model of outpatient care for addiction. As he says, “creating a community is critical, especially with health care.”
